DataFisch was founded in late 2019, at a time when businesses worldwide were forced to rethink processes, structures and collaboration. The company was created in response to a clear need: many organisations simply lack the time and internal resources to manage product data with the depth and consistency it requires. With a background in category management and hands‑on experience in handling large assortments and line extensions, DataFisch was built to provide the clarity, structure and efficiency that teams often could not cover internally.

As remote work became the new standard, DataFisch grew into a hybrid, multilingual team that can scale flexibly depending on project needs. Today, we operate with two specialised pools: a Data Team and a Marketing Team. Both consist of experienced freelancers who can work across disciplines. Our Marketing Team support creative execution, but they also contribute to data structuring when needed – giving us a rare blend of analytical and creative expertise.

Our work across different industries has shown us how varied product data environments can be. We are used to stepping into existing structures – from custom PIMs to in‑house tools and large Excel‑driven workflows – and bringing clarity to systems that have evolved over time. This practical experience allows us to understand complexity quickly and create data foundations that support long‑term growth.
